Our client, a senior who had been a permanent resident for over 15 years, dreamed of becoming a U.S. citizen. However, due to his limited English and medical conditions, the process was not easy.

We worked tirelessly with multiple doctors to gather the necessary documentation to show that his medical conditions prevented him from learning English, US history, and civics. Our request for a medical exemption was approved by USCIS! Given his health, we also requested that USCIS conduct his interview at his home. Thankfully, they approved our request, and after answering a few simple questions, he was granted U.S. citizenship!
