🎉 A Green Card Approval That Almost Became a Court Case

We recently helped our clients successfully navigate an unexpected immigration issue.Â
After we filed their Adjustment of Status (AOS) application, USCIS was on track to approve our client’s green card. However, just two days before USCIS approved his green card application, DHS improperly placed him in removal proceedings based on incorrect facts. ⚠️
Rather than allowing the case to move forward unnecessarily, we promptly filed a Motion to Terminate the removal proceedings and presented the legal basis for termination. ⚖️
✅ The result? The judge granted our motion before the client’s first hearing. 🎉
As a result, our clients avoided the unnecessary burden of having to travel for court, while also saving time, money, and the stress of going through removal proceedings that should never have been initiated.
Immigration cases can take unexpected turns. Having experienced legal counsel can make a significant difference when unexpected problems arise.
